I bought 4 types of nuts from Sunburst and I can’t tell you how marvellous they are so I am giving all 4 the same review to tempt you to buy different ones. Nuts are SO healthy for you and we must all eat more in our diet. They are absolutely brilliant and the best nuts you will ever find anywhere. I was getting really fed up with buying these small packets of nuts from supermarkets which work out horrendously expensive per kg and invariably contained broken nuts and dust and bits in the bottom of the bag. Sunburst nuts come in a very sturdy and perfectly sealed bag with a very solid seal that can keep resealing to keep them fresh – in fact mine were good for February 2017 but who could keep them for that long I ask myself! Here’s a heads-up on the nuts that I bought from them: Walnuts – Californian: Perfect halves, light golden in colour with NO brown bits and beautifully sweet with no bitter taste whatsoever. Hazelnuts: Perfect condition, firm and crisp with a perfect taste. Almonds: Good size and shaped, beautifully firm and excellent taste. Mixed Nuts and Raisins: Includes peanuts, almonds, pecans, Brazil, cashews, walnuts, raisins AND cranberries. An excellent mixture with a good portion of raisins to give good moisture and the cranberries add additional flavour. The delivery was very prompt and well packed. You MUST try them as once you’ve tried them then you’ll get well and truly hooked – trust me, you will not be disappointed. Not the cheapest on the market but like all things in life, you get what you pay for!
