Seaweed snacks offer a low calorie snack when you are craving something salty and savory. There are 4 flavors of these seaweed snacks and they are all pretty similar. The spiciness of the spicy flavor is pretty low and the seafood and soy flavor are very nuanced as well. The nori is very high in iodine so be careful eating too much of this or it will affect your thyroid.My family loves all things nori/seaweed and these are no exception. We loved most of the flavors, but the hot ones didn't really pack that much heat. The Japanese sauce flavor was my favorite. They have an unusual texture for seaweed sheets. They are much thicker than the seaweed snacks we usually get. There is one sheet in the bag that is approx. 3 1/2" by 5 1/2". It tastes great, but as soon as i finish it i want more.i really like that these come with such a fun flavor variety, but the price is pretty high compared to similar items. You get 4 boxes, and each box has 12 individually packed sheets that weight .11oz each. This same company makes another seaweed snack that i think is just called Crispy Seaweed. It's a much better value, you get 7 bags and each bag contains 1.12oz of the crispy seaweed strips instead of just one sheet. So it really depends on if you are looking for the convivence of having each sheet individually packaged. They would be a nice addition to a school lunch or on the go snack. These are a fun treat, they are mildly crunchy and have very good flavor.These seaweed sheets are low calorie and tasty. Love the variety pack - each one does have that signature fishy seaweed taste, but the flavors are distinct and good, so it's nice to be able to try a few different ones. The seaweed sheet, texture wise, is very crunchy. Be careful when eating and do so over a plate, because it does leave crumbs. Unlike some seaweed sheets, this one was a little more dry and less oily.My one criticism; the packaging. Each flavor has a box, and each box has multiple sheets that are all individually wrapped in plastic. Considering how thin and light these crisps are, you normally want more than just one. I wish they combined sheets or found a way to not waste so much plastic.Overall, though, I would recommend these.This is a variety set with 4x boxes of nori sheet snacks. Each box is a different flavor (Japanese shoyu, spicy, seafood and classic) and within the box are 12x individually packaged sheets with each sheet sized approx 3.5" x 5.5" If you've had similar Japanese seaweed sheets you'll find that these are slightly thicker and crispier. All 4 types of seasoning are tasty and unique on their own merits. The spicy version is medium-mild and the Japanese flavored version strikes a nice balance between salty & sweet. Followed by seafood flavor, classic then spicy. I don’t usually eat anything spicy but this was a very mild spicy flavor.Each seaweed sheet is individually packed in plastic bags. This keeps the nori fresh & crispy. But this convenience comes with a significant amount of plastic packaging that’s not good for the environment. You get more of the plastic packaging than the actual amount of seaweed sheets.The nori sheets are yummy but quite pricey. Can’t consider this product to be a good value for the money.I like crunchy seaweed snacks, and I’ve gotten a number of things from Peaceful Squirrel that I’ve enjoyed, so I was expecting to like this product, and I do. You get 4 boxes of seaweed sheets, each box a different flavor, and the flavors do taste very different from one another. I like all of the flavors, though the Japanese sauce one is my favorite.Each box contains 12 sheets, so there are a total of 48 sheets for $27, which is about $0.56 a sheet. I feel like that’s kind of a lot given that the sheets aren’t that big.The only other issue that I have is the packaging. Each sheet is in its own individual pouch, and each pouch is a fairly significant amount of material, and then 12 pouches in 4 boxes, and those boxes in another box, which is wrapped with plastic. They do need to make sure that the sheets are protected as you don’t want a bunch of broken pieces, but I feel like there is a better way to package all of this without using so much material, which I’m sure also contributes to the somewhat high price.I really like these, but the price and the wasteful packaging probably prevents me from getting these again.This product came on time and without any damage. I like how the product comes many different flavors that all taste wonderful. The packets of seaweed are also nice and portable, so I can take it anywhere to eat. My family loves this new snack and we would definitely get it again. I would recommend this to anyone who desires a tasty new snack.
