"FABULOUS . . . [MAKES] BIG VIRTUES ACCESSIBLE TO LITTLE PEOPLE." --DANIELLE HITCHEN, author of the Baby Believer® series What do your kids know about the fruit of the Spirit? Maybe they can rattle off the list: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. But do they really understand what the fruits look like in daily life? Christie Thomas is here to help you connect your children to the power of the Holy Spirit--and help your entire family learn a lot along the way! Each of these 100 devotionals will inspire your family with thought-provoking questions, real-life applications, and more. She also includes hands-on activities you can try when there's time. Fruit Full offers real understanding of how God covers each of us with his goodness and love, and how the Spirit will help your kids grow in their own beautiful, Jesus-reflecting character. With this book as your guide, the whole family will learn to grow abundant "fruit" together. "Grounded in Scripture and refreshingly contemporary. . . . Sure to bring you and your kids closer together." --BROCK EASTMAN, author of The Quest for Truth series "The most comprehensive, well-written family devotional on the fruits of the Spirit that I have ever read. . . . A thoroughly easy-to-read, delightful devotional." --GLENYS NELLIST, author of the Love Letters from God series

This devotional has been a valuable tool in our home. We started reading it to go along with a series my church did on the fruit of the spirit (I like to reinforce at home what we’re learning at church) and we have found ourselves coming back to it often. This one doesn’t have to be read in order which is great bc as things come up at home I like to reach for this book to teach my son specific lessons. The author has a section for each fruit, each section starts with a list of hands-on activities to help reinforce learning. The activities are quick, practical, easy to implement, and engaging. Each section includes 10 lessons and each lesson ends with discussion questions and a prayer. I find that, for our family, the discussion questions help create connections and open the door for even more questions. We like to take an informal approach of reading these lessons at bedtime while tucking our son into bed. It’s helped set the tone for calm and peaceful nights bc he looks forward to hearing the lesson and then chatting with us about it. We love that the lessons are short, easy to read, and written with humor that kids can relate to, all while keeping a reverence for the word of God. The lessons are in line with scripture and are so relatable to things our kids face today. Christie’s writing really shows she knows kids and so makes it easy for parents to teach about the Holy Spirit’s power in our lives.(We started reading these lessons with our son when he was 8 and I would say it’s a great age to start at. When my 12yo nephew comes over he also enjoys reading the lessons with us.)
