Just what I was looking for soft and comfortable.I bought this sweatshirt for my neighbor after I accidentally got bleach on his old sweatshirt! I know he loved that sweatshirt because he wore is so often, even though he insisted it was no big deal when I destroyed it. I immediately started searching the web for a replacement and, while I didn't find the exact shirt, was able to find a suitable replacement on Amazon. I bought this shirt for him over a year ago and had it sent directly to him so I never really got to see it out of the package. Just a couple of days ago he was over at the house and guess what he was wearing. That's right. This sweatshirt. He accidentally left it when he went home so I got to see it close up before I gave it back to him. It is obvious he is wearing it as much as the one I destroyed but the color has held up very well and it doesn't appear to have shrunk after a year's worth of washings. I don't think you could go wrong with this shirt if you're looking for a basic, good quality sweatshirt. The weight is substantial and it feels very soft after a year of use. Definitely worth the money and it assuaged my guilt!I most often order up a size due to shrinkage of this type of product. But with this sweat shirt is comes true to size, does not shrink when washed. I suggest you order size based on quality clothing that often does not shrink and runs true to size. This is a great warm soft sweat shirt. I already have ordered one more as a option when one gets soiled. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a thick, warm and soft sweat shirt.Good quality sweatshirt if you have a large neck! I would buy more, but feel and look as if I am wearing a womens boat neck shirt with this product. It's a shame, because the sweatshirt itself is of good quality, heavy weight, and well constructed. I will not buy more but if you have a large neck it is a good buy!The fit is marginal and if it shrinks it would be to small. I am 6' 160lbs. They are a little short in length. They are very heavy and warm and have a good feel. I think I would buy a large next time.I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband. He had requested a heavyweight plain sweatshirt, so this was what I purchased (the athletic heather). I bought the XL which is size he normally wears. It is good fit, is very roomy (a bit of extra room in case it should shrink) and it is heavyweight and thick. He loved it! I will most likely get more colors later. He loves this sweatshirt and says it is his new favorite.The fit is perfect (he is a large) and it is warm and comfy.Warm, comfortable, thick cotton sweatshirt for colder weather (Not lightweight!). Layer this together with a wool sweater and you'll stay warm guaranteed. No hanging neck tag (a plus) and is machine washable. Would recommend this sweatshirt to younger or older men; women might have trouble with the size fitting correctly.
