As other posters mention the pants are put together somewhat oddly. The back (where the label is) is too small, and then the front is baggy. A problem, but not hard to solve. I just turned the pants around, and that pretty much solved the problem! Order one size up and if you're more than 5'9" like I am they won't quite be long enough, but what is??? Otherwise a good item for the price, keeps me nice and warm, and washes very nicely, not shrinking too much when dried. I don't want to spend too much money on things like this. No one sees them but me, so it's all about function. This is what I use for pajama bottoms...year round. Not too hot...but will keep me from getting cold. Summer is air conditioning all night...winter nights can get chilly. These are comfortable and my favorites. Easy wash and dry.Loved the way this pant felt. Seriously kept the cold wind out and served its purpose. But it’s pretty small. I wasn’t expecting it to be a perfect fit as I am 5’9”. It came a little above the ankle which is fine, although not covering my bottom is not acceptable. These reviews are dead on when the say the front comes up nicely - BUT the back is extremely low. Like you cannot sit down low. Heck I cannot move around without it sliding down.Since I loved the fabric I want to size up and see if that solved the problem; unfortunately that is not an option because it doesn’t get any larger than a size LARGE in the color black.I bought these as a gift, then decided to get something else for that person. Thankful I did. I am a tall and slender woman and I somewhat expected these to be a bit short, but they are ridiculous. The waist band (I bought a size small) was what I would expect for a size medium or even a large and is very loose around the waist and hips. The legs, however, are very tight and short--as in, I can barely get my foot through the opening and once the waistline is in place, the "ankle" cuffs are halfway up my calves and I may develop circulation issues if I wear them too long. The material is harsh and doesn't stretch well, so the tight area around my calves is itchy and the loose area around my waist is stiff and bulky. I have only washed and dried them twice, so there is a possibility that they would soften in time, but that won't change the horrible fit. I'm glad I didn't give them as a gift or spend more money on them, but I wish I had returned them immediately. These are ok as winter PJ bottoms, which is my use for them. The fabric is rather thin, which is fine with me as I am a person who is always warm and I can't stand any heavy clothing on me unless it's below zero. The length was fine, I'm 5'2" so it might not be good for any one much taller than that. I wear a size 8 and I followed the other reviewers' recommendation of buying a bit larger than your normal size. I got the large, and it was snug and short in the rise. I am keeping them as they are doable, just not wonderful. I would not even consider wearing these as long johns, because the fabric is rough textured and wouldn't stay comfortable under any of my kinds of pants. They are not shaped well for a woman's body. The front it too long (goes an inch or so above my waist) and the back is too short (is an inch to short to make it to my waste). They should have a little more material in the back to cover a woman's tush. (Mine is actually fairly flat for a typical woman my size so if I can barely get them to cover, then they probably aren't going to fit most women very well who would order the large size like I did. I think the company made the same shape they make for men, just made it smaller and that's a bad idea. Women's figures have a different shape then men.Waffle thermal bottoms. When I was a kid we called these "long underwear" or "long johns." They are supposed to fit very tightly so that you can layer other clothes on top of them. I assume the reviews that say they are too small didn't understand that they are meant to be skintight. I wore mine under my jeans to an outdoor concert in 40 degree weather, and I was perfectly warm. These would be great to wear under snow pants or regular pajama bottoms too. Nothing beats waffle clothing when it comes to keeping warm!I wear a 12 and purchased the LARGE size, at a price of $6.50 or so. These thermal bottoms are very thin and don't fit well at all. They definitely run small, and appear to be the same fit as men's thermal bottoms since they are not cut for a woman's rear end. I constantly had to pull up the back of these to keep them from slipping down. Unfortunately, the seller charges $25 if you want to get the X-LARGE size. Got two pair at Old Navy that are much better quality and fit wonderfully in a LARGE size.I love long johns/waffle cotton. For the price, I'm happy with them. They are a little more low rise than expected. They fit, but I feel a little like my behind may become exposed if I'm leaning forward. Also a few loose threads hanging off of the seams. They were delivered VERY quickly, I have amazon prime and it was still even quicker than I expected. They are thinner (but thats ok, because they wont be too hot in the spring), and a little stiffer than the average thermal bottoms. Not much stretch. I usually find a small a bit big but these guys are a tad on the snug side. Might be nice though as I find that long johns always stretch way too much and have to be washed very frequently to stay cozy (I find baggy long johns to be a little uncomfortable).Overall happy with them. My only suggestion would be not to order your regular size if you're used to stretchy PJ pants- they will likely be too small! The waist on these was slightly large on me but that's because I'm between their size M and L and I got a L, so I said fits as expected. These are stretchy but not too stretchy/tight that they're uncomfortable as some long underwear is. There's a nice band around the ankles so you can put jeans over without having to tuck the bottoms into your socks. Nice design; as pictured. And considering the super-cheap price, these are definitely a worthwhile purchase.
